Harvest Auction 2002

Saturday night was the Harvest Supper, Sunday Harvest Festival and Monday night the Harvest Auction at which 475 was raised for church funds

Auctioneer Mike Parker prepares to start the bidding at The Wheatsheaf public house

Just some of the magnificent produce donated for the harvest festival and auction

The sale in progress .... and it's fun too.

Practically everyone left with at least one marrow and a pound of onions!

"What am I bid?"

The grand finale as landlord Tony auctioned a splendid harvest loaf in the shape, appropriately, of a wheatsheaf.
