Bow Brickhill Feast 2010

On 13th November 2010 - the day of the year upon which the Bow Brickhill Feast traditionally commenced - the History Society revived the celebration. Roast pork dinners were served at the Wheatsheaf  followed by Bow Brickhill pudding. This light steamed fruit pudding has been made to a recipe by at least one of the ladies in the village for as long as anyone can remember.

The occasion was most fitting for the launch of  'A Walk Around Bow Brickhill' - a leaflet giving a guided walk around the village, describing the historic buildings present and past and giving information about some of the community's former residents.
